Hmmmm, Andy took me for a spin in their Dolphin, I really liked it, but I reckon with a wltp quoted range of 260, it would struggle to get to Ilford and back on a cold day in winter. 
Dont know, never sat in or driven one.
(I will not buy another renault)

I know nothing of EVs other than I want a late 90s Land Cruiser conversion. It could take the weight of batteries to get it to Inverness and back (maybe) on a single charge.

I get that it’s your first EV and the like, but charging really isn’t the issue that it used to be. Back in the day, there would be one rapid charger at a motorway services, and if it was busy you were fucked.
Now there are dozens everywhere, and you just plug in and tap. It seems silly to end up with an extra hundred kilos and loads of lithium used for ten minutes of your time three times a year.

One guess what the L in LFP stands for 
One is the reasons I got the model I did was the LFP battery - not using nickel and cobalt is great both environmentally and politically. It’s slightly worse for power delivery and charge speed, but these are easy sacrifices for me - 0-60 in under 7s and 180+kW charging are entirely adequate!
Just for Jim, the BYD Dolphin does 0-60 in 7 seconds 
I also don’t understand the problem doing 160 mile trips in a car with a 260 mile range, also heat pump.
19% of EV owning Times readers is a possibility though

Apparently this has just appeared from a 2 year old poll of 1000 EV and and 1000 ICE drivers
A UK survey reported that 82% of EV drivers had never run out of charge, implying that up to 18% had done so at least once—but this was a lifetime survey result, not an annual rate. For ICE vehicles, the comparable UK lifetime figure is 28% of drivers who had ever run out of fuel.
