I mistakenly tried the puff version last year. Disaster.But having tried the shortcrust version as well I think it has a taste. Making your own pastry isnât really that hard but I think it does taste nicer. Give it a go. Really doesnât take long.
Will give it a go on Saturday and compare. I cheated on the mince too; I used a Waitrose one and pimped it with lemon zest, cognac and fresh apple. Really good! I was a bit miffed that I could only find one with Vege suetâŚ
