The secret diary of Elon Musk and other fuckery

He has done a massive amount of damage but will be the scape goat for everything else Trump has planned.

Midas in reverse.

I also wonder, given the way they “approached things” whether an element of this was just a huge information smash and grab, and he now has the data he wants.

A lovely message - ‘Don’t buy one or you’ll be stuck with a lemon’. Perhaps that and the flamey potential will extinguish more buyers.

In other news:

Reports indicate that X has lost nearly one-fifth of its daily active users in the U.S. and a third in the U.K. between May 2023 and September 2024.

X’s own data, required under the Digital Services Act (DSA) in the EU, shows a decline in monthly users, falling from 111.4 million in the six months leading up to January 2024 to 106 million in the six months leading up to July.

I trust it’s gone down from there.

More depressed than horrified TBH… :frowning:

USA/DOGE related…

That is scary stuff.

I read stuff like that and am no longer able to figure it it’s true or not. The ‘fact’ stasi have done a great job

Reuters is paywalled. I remember reading about a way to access a free version - anyone know how it’s done?

That one opens OK for me, I do not have a subscription
