Stamping a passport is the quick and easy bit. The trick is having an agreement to share data to allow passport scanners to work. If you have those, it takes no time to get through.
No scanners at a lot of airports or the tunnel.
It was very fast getting back into the UK at Gatwick with the scanners
The same in Manchester earlier this year.
I’m refusing to get a blue passport until they are made in England by an English company. I don’t want my hands polluted by bloody French ink as any proud Englishman wouldn’t.

Went through the electronic scan q in Rome with all the eu/eea people. Hardly any q at all. Quite smooth really.

IIRC the Fiesta will be the last Ford built in the UK.
Also read somewhere that electric Minis are being built in China, so when petrol Mini production ends in 2030, Cowley closes.
