The shit that does merit its own thread

Thought it would be Bushmills in MIL’s house :grinning:

It’s that fine tradeoff between terroir, personal taste and what’s on a deal in Tesco.

We’ve got a Ideal Logic, we’ve had it about 5 years (I think). It’s been trouble free. We had a Ideal Isar before it which was a pile of shit. We buy Ideal because they’re based in Hull and my uncle is a production manager there, so we get them cheap. He says they had so many problems with the Isar it nearly bankrupt the company, including having to replace all the boilers foc on a huge new build estate here. He says they really had to get the Logic right because of the previous issues and it’s turned out to be a really good boiler.

BiL and family are in the air.

Auckland, Melbourne, Abu Dhabi (on this leg now), London.

It’s 32c in Melbourne and they’re posting pictures of themselves in sandals and shorts. The boys have never left NZ before. I think London and then rural NI are going to be a nasty shock.

First time in 10 years for BiL.

As you mention it, time for some 50s nuclear nonsense.

I can just imagine Connex trying to run these.

May I submit the Ford Nucleon? What could possibly have gone wrong? Passive and Active Safety Features of a 1950’s car with a Nuclear Reactor ftw! :raised_hands::raised_hands::raised_hands:

Oh dear, plans are already being made.

The four horsepersons of the Irish alcopalypse haven’t been assembled for Hogmanay since the 90s.

I fear this won’t end well.

It has been suggested I look like Joe 90.

Fuck having even a minor prang in that. Do I see Mercedes T1 Van headlamps added to a Ford Granada Estate body added to an MAN Tractor Unit? I bet it was fun carrying out maintenance on the Engine too! Yet despite all that, it looks cool somehow! :star_struck:

Sorry… Internet Search Engine Wormhole:
