Forgot, a lot of my fishing reels are right hand crank so I have to hold the rod with my left
Always felt sorry for a friend of mine at school back in the days of writing with fountain pens. He had to turn his exercise book anti-clockwise to some awkward angle in an effort to avoid smudging everything & even then it didn’t work that well.

Yeah, a good friend of mine had the same issue, and it being a public school, fountain pens were required. He basically wrote with his hand curled round almost completely back on itself so the ink at least had some time to dry before his sleeve would inevitably run over it.

Rules, what rules ? Skillful and brutal, but so addictive, it’s a shame that after reaching a popularity peak in the uk it dipped into almost obscurity apart from the minor leagues. Thoroughly enjoyed the matches at Manchester back in the day.
