Having lived in Manchester up to the point it closed always regretted never going on one of the tours over what was a freight only line before closure. Will watch video at lunch.

It was surfed in 2020 but Guinness have only just certified it.

Even though Nazare is a monster I don’t think it’s the scariest looking wave. Teahupoo and Shipsterns Bluff might not have the same height but they make my blood run cold just watching. Not for a million pound would I paddle into one of them!

First time I surfed Croyde I wore my usual 6mm wetsuit, could not believe how much warmer the sea was there than at Scarborough. Me and my mate ended up in shorts, the locals thought we were nuts!
