Well they did once upon a time:
Looks it, some differences.
VPI do make it.
Quads
It’s about £15,000.
It was called the HQD system & included Quads for midrange but I think there bass & hf bits around them. Levinson himself also did that Red Rose stuff as well as Daniel Hertz more recently.
WANT!
Double want! That’s one of the besterest TT things I’ve seen in a long, long time
Triple want! I also like the 45rpm only deck that Simon Yorke did a few years back.
As to the SPEC turntable mentioned earlier, I’ve regularly left puddles of drool on it at Munich…
I know that this thread isn’t about digital, but is there any mileage in having turntables that run at very different speeds when digitising vinyl?
Would you get better results by playing at 16, say, then dsping it for speed and pitch. And probably RIAA. Hmm, starting to sound like a bit of a shit idea actually…
Lyrec AG-40
That’s a biggun missus!
Inspired by Ross Kemp folds.
Obviously allows you to play three records at the same time, that’s one more than a disc jockey, so better.
Proper drive!
