I know that this thread isn’t about digital, but is there any mileage in having turntables that run at very different speeds when digitising vinyl?

Would you get better results by playing at 16, say, then dsping it for speed and pitch. And probably RIAA. Hmm, starting to sound like a bit of a shit idea actually…

You raise a very good question, and having considered it at length, the best thought I can offer is - DIGITISING vinyl? You bloody what?
