A huge proportion of people have no choice but to go to any work they can get.
Indeed, was watching an item on the news at the weekend about the huge recent increase in numbers of homeless living in tents on the streets in Los Angeles at the moment. The USA is in a real mess when even relatively wealthy states have such issues.

The wealth gap is even more pronounced in the US than here - it’s why everything American is so popular with our business ‘leaders’ and politicians, it concentrates wealth even more effectively than our economic model
