this morning signing degree transcripts and results letters for about 250 graduates, and this afternoon I am being a student on a module called Managing Staff based Investigations which if I write the essay, will contribute towards an MA.
fab , presumably college has broken up now hasn`t it . good luck with MA , my good lady did 2 years commuting to London at some cost to do her MA in adult basic esol .
most impressed today to be able to get an emergency GP appointment for a chest infection that just will not budge , having woken up many of the neighbours with coughing at 0500 thought i had better go , impressive , also impressive was i was in with gp for about 60 secs plus and got the appropriate scrip
in the waiting room i noticed an extraordinary amount of folks have their birthdays on 1/1/… i guess they can`t remember so put down 1st of jan most times !!!

Thanks, I have been taking modules towards the MA for nearly 3 years. I need one more taught module for a PgDip and then decide about the dissertation. I have the PgCert in Managing Workplace Bullying and Harassment.
Undergraduate students are gone we are processing results etc…postgrad students and researchers are here all summer. Despite what many think, we never close. Although it is a quiet time at the moment for some.

I have been urging this for years on all sorts of grounds (my time, paper, postage you name it), but according the legal team and the powers that be we are not allowed to. Interestingly the degree transcripts do have the printed signature of the VC on one side, yet I have to physically sign in the other corner…

Today I finished a brim to brim test - to verify accuracy of the Honda fuel usage calculator
The dashboard calculator read 62.5 mpg whilst the fuel usage calculated to 58.5 mpg.
Around 93% accurate. 58mpg is still pretty good though. My car is 10 years old so maybe new cars are more accurate?
ah thats interesting and workplace bullying is a big problem , we had a case here recently which caused huge rancour in the UCU local union
