No wonder your van is slow with that small engine

Lunch at Kayal, walk/cycle on the Stratford Greenway, spot of cake at the Carriages cafe then home where I have booked an evening of vinyl and whisky. All most agreeable.
What did you wonder about?
Holly Willoughby s boobies.
Shame, you had a justifiable apostrophe and missed it
Driving to Suffolk for a wedding. Attending the wedding - we had a wonderful day, although what the parents had to pay for that weather heaven only knows. Given that it’s Feb the pictures are going to be absolutely fantastic though. Driving back. A bit under 3 hours each way including stops. Can’t complain.

My neck of the woods. Where have you been?
Doh!

Ha, my nephew had his wedding there a couple of years ago, beautiful place. Was it in the little church next door? Fantastic day for it today in sunny Suffolk, I’ve been gardening and sitting outside, in February?!?
Lol

No, my cousin’s daughter, who’s not really been religious, is marrying into an Indian Muslim family. So today’s ceremony was purely civil and holding it in a Christian space wouldn’t really have been appropriate. So it took place in the Banqueting Hall with the wedding breakfast in the Long Gallery. There will be an Indian wedding ceremony close to the groom’s family home in north London next weekend.

Ah, understood. Incredible building but I’m sure that it comes at a significant cost, suspect that my nephew/brother are still paying for it now…
Yes. I suspect the Indian ceremonies won’t be cheap either. My cousin’s father was the ‘luckiest’ with money among all my mother’s generation, although to give him and his wife their due they both worked very hard all their lives, were modest with their luxuries and listened to the best financial advice they could get. Later in life they also cared diligently for an older friend who had multiple health problems, without realising (no-one apart from his family’s solicitors really seemed to know until after his death) that he was the heir to a significant endowment. Of which, since he didn’t have close family, he left a large chunk to them. They doted on their only grandaughter and I imagine they’ve pushed the boat out today.
