Stourport.

Complete with imported palms.

Look out for Duncan Willmott. Good mate of mine. He had my old boat off me which I kept at the club. He is, or was, Commodore for years. He’s got the massive boat out the front of the club.

That looks lovely, I’ve been looking for a mooring for our boat :+1:

Finished the books and submitted to Companies House and HMRC in time to get out for a walk after lunch. To Lowbury Hill, not by the most direct route, and over it. It’s one of the highest points around and striking that the Romano-British lugged stone up to the very top and built a temple there. Then down, across the Ridgeway and to Compton via ‘Crows Foot’. Through Compton, back past the research centre, onto the Ridgeway, west to the A34 and then home via Alden Farm, Upton and the disused railway line. Glorious weather, very few people. Lots of tractor noise though - I guess the farmers are seizing the window of opportunity that a few warm dry days brings.

declined a request from a family member to be a guarantor for their debts !! hard to say but they are highly likely to default and dont want to star on that lovely programme cant pay wont pay

then spotted a deathwatch beetle in one room [ woodworm beetle] nasty little bugger , must be the nice weather bringing them out . having spent many hours spraying joists and crawling around under our floors , i don`t like deathwatch beetles

A good friend of mine asked me to do this a few years ago. My response was “Nope. Every time I have seen you come into money, you are like a dog with two dicks and you spend it all in no time”.

Wise decision Phil, even if it was difficult for you.

If a friend asks to borrow money, my usual answer is “What do you want more, the friendship or the money?”

Travelled back from seeing the new grandchild.

Left Jan up there - it turns out our lads job is the cooking and cleaning and is just too much so she has found an excuse to stay :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

So I must fend for myself, look after dogs and horses somehow survive.

Wonderful few days - thanks for all the support you have given.

Soft twats, all of you :grinning:
