My contact in Lisbon says there are two schools of thought on custard tarts there. Pasteis Belem and Pasteis de Nata.
Your mission Jim, is to try both, report on the differences (with pictures) and then express a preference we can disagree with.

Sistine chapelling…
Due to the renovations and some decluttering, I had some time on my hands and a stack of shit to get rid of.
Had a huge collection of labels (beer & wine), coasters, stickers and paraphernalia sitting in bags gathering dust. So decided they would be better served being on view. Ceiling of the Brewhouse is a work in progress.

I was on my back after consumption of the produce within the labelled bottles.

Taking delivery of a new shiny thing…
After 10+ years of loyal service, several hundred brews and a repair to the switch by our very own Graeme @Valvebloke, my old boiler bit the dust. I decided rather than attempt a fix (too much protein burnt onto element face plate and the overheat cutout playing silly buggers), that it was time to give it a respectful retirement.
