Currently on my way to an evening with old colleagues (a few that I actually like). I’m planning on getting completely shit faced.

Thats because it’s rammed full of people complaining its rammed.

As part of my slow mission to make my fat arse fit into economy seat for 13 hours this October I did a 7.5k walk around the perimeter of Hampstead Heath. Last week I went anti-clockwise which I regretted as its a long drag up Highgate West Hill. This week I went clockwise which is a little easier up East Heath Road.

That’s a shame - I’d imagine that would have spoiled the enjoyment a bit.

Must be a big party !!

Hope so, managed to loose a load of weight back in 2009/10. The incentive for that was the same trip to Buenos Aires but I carried on and was for many years running at least 8k to work most days. In the end of fell off that wagon for a number of reasons. The usual Dr’s warnings and slightly high blood pressure and blood sugar levels have driven this change. I certainly know its was easier when I was 43 compared to 53 now.

Yes , i guess the incentive is definately there to reduce blood sugar levels which of course can do long term damage if raised for too long as you know .

Been replacing cooker knobs on an ancient cooker , surprisingly hard to get but fortunately electrolux do a universal jobbie which fitted . Then enjoyed a lovely hovland pre with the new owner of my firebottle mono`s sounding pretty good with some Wilson benesch speakers .

I really don’t know how you cope with all the excitement Phil.
