Enjoyed seeing a Komodo dragon today at a nature centre , amazed they can produce babies by parthenogenesis .

Went to the Island Hall last night for this

They were also joined by a guest duo from Sheffield. All good entertainment. Lots of people there, very good turnout.

Got pissed.

Going back tonight for a few beers and whisky and a game of pool, with possibly the same end result as last night.

Sounds a great night! Do you know who the Sheffield duo were Paul?

I don’t remember, but I’ll ask

Disassembling a (not very well made) pair of DIY Cambridge R50’s which have been cluttering my living room for too many years and dumping the cabinets. So I now have pairs of KEF B139s, B110 SP1003s, T27 SP1032s and Coles 4001s along with Falcon Type 6 crossovers.

Then round the corner for a couple of pints at the Arts Centre’s beer and music festival https://www.cornerstone-arts.org/whats/cornerstones-10th-annual-beer-music-festival. Incredible amount of dad-dancing to 70’s classics (not by me, I hasten to add). This was last year I think

There’s more going on inside.

Camping in the rain. Quite happy though, with my good friends gin & tonic and my Kindle.

Dinner with friends. Between the main course and dessert, Dan demo’d his Eclipse TD712 speakers driven by a Chord CPM 2650.

It sounded marvellous. :+1:

Always fancied trying the 712s.

They were in the bar tonight. Very nice couple who just play as a husband and wife act, but they used to have a band called Sky Hooks.

Anyone you might know?
