Today I have mainly been V2.0

Today I’ve mainly been hot.

Horrible thing to have , really hope it goes down fast . do you have to carry a epipen ?

Not currently, so far corticosteroids have been prescribed to control the swelling. The doc did mention a C1 esterase inhibitor to keep at home just in case.

Keeping cool. Last walk with the dogs looking over the Langdales as the sun sets.

Up early today. Walked to Benissa and back over the cliff path. Managing 8-10km per day of hard walking before it gets too warm. Really big improvement over March and April when I could hardly walk to the local shops.

Well done! Some great walking around there though I prefer it in February, when it’s a bit cooler.

Agreed. We’re not game enough to leave the coast as this time of year. It is too feckin’ hot inland,

Glamorous business trip to Runcorn. Clearly I cannot afford to stay over in such a luxurious destination so I will be shuttled back home like a commoner by train later today. Hopefully there will be a small package awaiting me on my return.

day off today, lounging about for now. Eye test and contact lens fitting later.

It was 47 when I was in Cordoba some years ago. There was a small breeze, it was like having a hairdryer on your face.

Hope it clears up soon, Paul.

Taking issue with my RCM. Many things in my life suck, seemingly isn’t one of them. Fuck you RCM.

Worst I’ve ever experienced was in 2008 in Melbourne. Force 5 gusting 6 and 47C. Huge firestorm upcountry led to hundred of deaths. It was appalling weather to say the very least. 35 or more for a week and a half…:hot_face:

Just no. Far too hot.

I much prefer the cold.

I stood on the edge of Lake Ontario in January 2010 and it was -25c with no wind. A touch sharp.

Houston in the late summer. The Gulf has warmed up to simmering point. Then the 90/90 days start, when it doesn’t fall below 90F and 90% humidity day or night. If you’re unlucky a hurricane comes and wipes out the electricity, so no air con. Things turn ugly.

I had similar at University of South Carolina. Unfortunately sweaty most of the time I was there.

Did you like the South? We loved our holiday there.

Kuwait City 50 degrees, Kuwait Air flight cancelled as they said the 747 couldn’t get enough lift due to weather conditions. I wasnt going to argue, given my 2 previous flights with Kuwait Air, had incidents.

Went shopping to a street market, and nearly burnt my fingers on a super hot brass plate that had been sat in the sun all day. Visited a camel market nearby and drank freshly squirted camels milk from a rusty bucket.

Flew to Muscat, Oman the next day, which is a much more pleasant place.
