Out birding again when I came across this Otter on Aith beach - poor pics, but I didn’t dare move any closer as they are extremely wary of humans.
Fantastic. It’s great to see someone retired and living the dream, gets me through another day in the office.
Definitely a forum member.
They are lovely. But don’t they stink!
I don’t know. It’s virtually impossible to get close enough to tell.
We were diving off he Sound of Mull some years ago and while we were walking on the beach the dogs found one hiding under a rock. The noise and smell that it gave out were horrendous.
I got a promotion yesterday, wife got a new job today, overwhelming smug.
Moving daughter and friend into their house together in B’ham.
Fab! Well done
Great pics, wonderful experience.
You do know that Otters can’t fly, don’t you ?
Thank you, David Attenborough
You have to watch out for the Lesser Spotted Wing Tailed Water Rabbit, it flies backwards so it can see where it’s been, it nests in a Rhubarb tree and whistles like a Pig.
Just checking
They are probably more poisonous than a brown snake in Oz though (and can fly)
Any more news on the re-booking? John?
Nature’s powers of recovery are remarkable.
you wouldn’t believe it is only a few months since the meatmen were there.
fab , i will look out for you when i pass !
Yep, date is confirmed, just waiting for them to send invoice over. I didn’t want to announce until they’ve had the dough
