Touching my face.

Why not both?

Might buy the latest footie manager game, as my last version is two years old.

Out for a walk. Much as normal i.e. quiet, but then the countryside is always quiet in the middle of a weekday. Once or twice though I was struck by the peculiar eeriness of it. It took me a while to work out why. Some of the gaps between the planes (we’re a few tens of miles west of Heathrow) are now long enough for the plane noise to disappear altogether. Not even the faintest hum.

The advice is not to visit pubs but we had our monthly lunch planned for today. We’re normally 7 or 8. I expected most (a couple of guys in their mid 70’s, a woman who’s had persistent chest infections since a bout of pneumonia 2-3 years ago, another woman with multiple immune system issues including type 1 diabetes) to bow out. And they did. So we were just 3. Two units really, as Mrs VB and I live, eat and sleep with one another, so we’re probably a single ‘risk’. As it happened for half the time we were the only people there except for the landlord. Then 4 or 5 villagers showed up. So the risk will have been negligible today. But I reckon that’s it for the foreseeable future. And possibly for the pub .

most of my mates at barrow were sent to WFH on monday. im expecting glasgow to do the same for next week…Some of the pictures from London look like 28 days later stills…weird

If everyone keeps going to the pub, it will not help the countries efforts to contain C19. The message was plain and clear. No non-essential contact. The pubs won’t have enough people to serve in the future anyway if we ignore the advice. Surely that’s not too big an ask?

There won’t be any pubs left

Showing FOL 2.0 how to solve quadratics by completing the square….

Today I have been mostly: Migraine.

Second one in as many weeks when I normally consider myself unlucky if I get one once a year…

Max celebrated my incapacitation by taking a massive, wet shit on the carpet shortly after I’d struggled down half blind and feeling sick to let the dogs out for their morning toilet break…

I hate these fucking cunts sometimes, so fucking much…

Finalising plans for everyone in the business to be able to work from home. Not looking forward to the next few months and the inevitable fall out

Yeah, just about every client of my fledgling business has shut up shop

Remind me again of what fun we’re having :slightly_frowning_face:

No fun. No fun at all. For anyone. Anymore.
I guess it’s why I lurk in this happy-go-lucky corner of the www. Without the constant bonhomie and shit-kicking I think my life would be akin to some sad fucker, stuck at home, in front of a compooter, eating cheesy wotsits.
Anyway, SFH tomorrow so shouldn’t grumble.

Cheeky cunt :rage:
