Yep, no distillery, no pub (apart from the Hall bar on a Sat night - closed due to cuntvirus)
No issues with that and definitely no plans to make my own. Amazon Prime will (and does, eventually) supply me with all I need, sans Scotchish alcohol tax too. Iāll just concentrate on cooking decent simple food and washing it down with a decent array of malts and my everyday Grouse, thankyouverymuch

Last week I bought some Whisky. All the shops were sold out for some reason so I asked Janbald to look online. Turned out we could get Grouse at Ā£16.00 a litre which I thought was fine. So we ordered 4 litres. Added postage put it at nearly Ā£20.00 a litre which is just about un-discounted price at the supermarkets so we went for it to survive lock down.
It arrived. From Spain, through Italy, in the best packaging I have ever seen.
And itās proper stuff.
6 bottles (1 ltr) on Amazon Prime @ Ā£16/bottle. Delivery = Ā£3.99 discount for ordering >Ā£90 is Ā£4

But this was on the day all those fucking idiots were panic buying so I had to - oh wait a minuteā¦

Itās Ā£7.99 per month fee to participate, but if you drink 6 ltrs of Grouse a month it becomes a stone cold bargain.
