Is it me or does that Parrot sound just like John Lydon?
I think it’s something from a bygone era - are they really not banned now? We used to have a parrot that had belonged to my grandmother, was fucking funny at times but there’s no way I’d get one now. Before I was born my grandad had a monkey as a pet, apparently it used to piss and throw shit at people. Appropriate.
I have 20 or 30 spare ones in my garden.

They’re certainly still a big thing over here. The Wench’s boss used to have one until it decided it had had enough and fucked off somewhere never to be seen again. It doesn’t help that there seems to be quite a lot of money in them; 1,600€ for a bird is not uncommon and they seem to be able to sell them at that price.
Feeling somewhat ashamed at my thinking following @pmac response. Birds in cages are a perversion of nature - they are simply not designed or intended for captivity. In much the same way Stronzetto really should be turned back to the wild. I’m thinking Runcorn.

tis our head office site and thankfully the jaunts up there are less frequent than they used to be. i think it will be closed by january.
