Going through the finances etc with FoL who wants to buy her first place of her own. She is finding that what she can afford on a nurse’s starting salary a little disappointing, and that’s with me throwing a decent deposit in for her.

Just spent the early afternoon at the local race track watching a few million Euros in cars go round. Reminded me a lot of watching Test cricket, which was nice.

How did the interview go Jon ?
Pretty well I think, will here today or tomorrow if I’ve got through to the next round. There’s around 4 stages for the interview process, which is pretty involved, but it’s a reasonably significant position / pay grade I think, so understandable.
Will be 2-3 weeks before I know if I’ve got the job.

Not touched a bit of cloth/scissors/needle since 12.3.20. I’ve been steadily working at getting my workspace up and running for the last couple of months. Now it’s ready, I’m going to spend my time making stuff and documenting it for reasons.
Knackered now, my backs aching and I don’t like what I’ve made, so snafu.

While you are producing substandard produce, which you couldn’t possibly charge full price for; I’ll have a suit from the finest Scottish Tweed - 40" chest, 37" waist, 32" inside leg.

Do you do stuff in metric sizes? Also, I purchased my last suit from Burtons and that didn’t have lines drawn all over it?
