Looks like the Dunlop tyre factory I had a tour round in the late 90s. I’ll admit I’ve led a sheltered life but fuck me, it was like something out of Dante’s Inferno.

I was very grateful that I didn’t have to work in them or live in a place where they were the only option,

Arriving home after a couple of weeks in Hartlepool. Great to see and spend some quality time with my Dad, who is doing very well at 86 and was on top form. Met up with a few old friends and had a nice meal out and a few pints with some of them, very enjoyable.
Other than that, I’m just so happy to be back home. Extremely happy, in fact!
Tomorrow is the start of the final push to finish the music room, expecting it to be done in a couple of weeks.
