Assembling racking and tidying the garage - I had let it become a dumping ground for fire wood and timber offcunts.
I’t so tidy that I can actually fit the car in and don’t have to get out through the window.

Given that we use the car once a week or so garaging it is minimal hassle and It makes sense to protect the valuable asset that it is

clearly not a Norfolk garage

Not very British off you at all.
The British way is look after all the crap you can’t be arsed to take to the tip in a secure (and in some cases heated) garage, while leaving an expensive car on the drive and then lying to your insurance company.

Pulling reeds from a (rather stagnant) pond, helping build a walkway for kids to go pond-dipping there, and trimming willows around the pond edge. Sheffield Wildlife Trust volunteer work again, no photos because I forgot to take my phone (doh!). Needed a shower as soon as I got home,
to get rid of the stink of pond-bottom.

Fair play Dave, that sounds like hard work. Award yourself a well earned coldie (or three).

Might just do that!

Relearning how to touch type all over again

Friday Diveday again

some longer videos today, whilst the camera is nowt special, and the picture is a touch noisy, the way things ‘appear’ out of the mist is pretty accurate - you wouldn’t think a Seaking helicopter could hide! When i look at the watch on my wrist, the figure at the top is the depth in m, and when I look at the pressure gauge for how much air i have left (12 ltr tank), that’s in Bar (I think it reads 150
)

Not an I phone was it

There is one phone number I lost when my se died so wondering if its worth having a crack at it, and put a new charger bit in the bottom

Have you done any diving in the south west?

No

Just the two sites local to us, coniston, and then Rhodes (try dive) and Tenerife

It’s hard with the kids as we can only really do day trips. The kids were diving on the two holidays but they’ve since given up

Yes, sort of thing you’d probably want to do over a week or 2

And of course banking on the vis being ok

Bloke I work with did a dive near Alderney quite a few years back with a team, if I remember rightly it was a sister ship of the Mary Rose, think it was on time team a year or 2 later

He knows quite a few of the old boys when diving was a bit wild in the 60s/70s and they would take anything they could carry off the boats

Getting up early and walking up the coast.

I couldn’t imagine the dangers of diving around Alderney.
Some of the biggest tidal races anywhere around the UK, I have done a bit of sailing round the CI and it takes a lot of planning (And good weather).

We have a mate Diving Scapa next weekend. We’re not jealous

Think this was the dive he did, not the later one
