I realise your ā€˜special’ customers routinely buy by the pound. But if you’ve bulked up the ā€˜livestock’ simply by fattening them then sooner or later the punters will realise. Have you talked to the US agri-pharma people about hormone treatment ? Seems to work well enough for beef.

Blatant consultancy pitch detected…

Insulin. Completely undetectable. Entirely legit - branded, untraceable, in-date packs. Injection gear extra.

Sounds lovely. Save us a pint :upside_down_face:

Wanting to visit this bunker, had a trip planned, hopefully next year instead :+1:

Unlike most of the other bunkers around they keep all the electrics working, they could genuinely deal with a nuke strike and communicating it around on 80/90s kit. Love it

I’m hoping it turns out as good as it sounds. I used a couple of new techniques plus a different yeast to any I have used before.
Time will tell.

I’ve spent most of yesterday and today trying to get one part of a computer to talk to another.

I have three digital active systems. Two work fine, flawless bitperfect hi-res streaming with lots of lovely digital processing. The other has never worked properly, always stuttering. Unfortunately that’s the man-cave system.

So I have upgraded the machine (in the process discovering that the G41 motherboard chipset has an intermittent issue with 1333 speed RAM, that took a while to find and resolve). Problem persists.

In a ā€˜fuck it’ moment I decided to buy 5 DACs and use my pro Lynx sound card, which has 16 digital output channels. Means I can even add a subwoofer to the Lab Subs if I fancy it. Much faffing and getting stuff tested. Problem persists.

I tell the wife that I’m so annoyed that I will probably spend Ā£500-odd on a new PC. She’s fine with this, hey I just bought her a new Kindle so I’m in credit.

Then I just thought it through, and decided to try using JRiver as a digital renderer rather than actually take the sound from one program to another. Installed BubbleUPnP and it worked. Flawlessly. Qobuz streamed, and the sample rate changed indicating that it was bit-perfect.

Unfortunately I haven’t bought enough digital cables yet, so all I could listen to was the Goldberg Variations played via the Lab Subs (it sounded utter shit), but within a few days this is going to sound utterly epic.

I know, nobody cares. I have retired upstairs with gin for music therapy on a working system.

My lynx was a PCI not PCI-e, took ages to work out it didn’t like specific motherboards. It would work for 10 seconds then stop. I was ready to throw it out of the window.

Mine is PCI too, AES16.

I have a feeling that I’ll be installing BubbleUpnp onto a Pi soon so it can work on everything.

Gets better, I had just finished university and had decided fuck a career, move to Holland and party for years.

The car (Fiat 126) was an old friend’s who was already in Holland (her dad had restored it and covered it in elephant decals for her)

I took it from Larne (home town) to Stranraer, down to Harwich and ferry to Holland.

The lorry impact happened is Suffolk and police had me recovered to garage, sleep in car overnight.

The best the garage could do was hammer and weld the drivers door shut (whole offside was smashed but no suspension damage)

Bill was about Ā£300 which I tried to pay with my maxed out student credit card… they cut it in half.

I had £500 in travellers cheques (remember them?) so used them.

Eventually arrived in Holland to get bolloxed by my mate for wrecking her car, luckily her sister had travelled with me and put her straight.

Within a couple of weeks of me handing over her car the Dutch police impounded it and crushed it as unsafe due to Dukes of Hazard style ingress/egress. :innocent:
