The wife decided that she wanted to listen to her Irish history podcast on headphones. She then discovered that her tablet doesn’t actually have a headphone socket.
I’m fairly certain that this is the only conceivable scenario where ownership of multiple thumb-drive DACs and associated cables will win you anything other than an eye-roll.
Scary, but understand all the drivers are Ok although some were taken to hospital to be checked over. Looked really nasty.
Suprised she didn’t just give you a bollocking for not having any bluetooth headphones.
Then you would get a bollocking for not keeping her headphones charged up. 
Wife thought it worked well on headphones.
