To Great Dixter, which has been on the wife’s list for a long time.
Lovely gardens and house (Lutyens refurb of medieval).
Thence on a whim to Battle, which I think is a nice little town, and a scoot around the abbey - free because of the wife’s civil service thingy.
We took Mrs Pilgrims 94 years old Nan out for the day to …. Wait for it
St Austell indoor market. I’ve never been but it was a favourite of hers.

Are they Alnico 2405’s? Which diaphragms are you putting in?
Yep 2405s, one had the original diaphragm the other was knackered. Has taken close to a year to find a NOS 2405 JBL diaphragm.

A woodland walk with added bluebells.
Followed by ‘Album of the month’ in a local pub. Today was Station to Station. Lots of anorak muso discussions with the landlord including ‘who played bass on The man who sold the world’.
Most enjoyable.
Shitting.
Explosively.
Every half an hour.
Exhausting.
My arse looks like the Japanese flag, but with more red.
Just think of the weight you’re losing. Every cloud and all that
Dogs are getting overdue for their walk up the wood.
