I tend to agree but I found them under the stairs, which means they are at least nearly 3 years old.

They may even have been left by the previous owners.

Heresy. Beef & tomato is best.

Travelling to Bristol.

At least one day of this trip is entirely pointless, however the hotel is a sunk cost so out of sheer bloody mindedness I intend to eat my own bodyweight in breakfast.

That used to be my favourite, but I’ve now moved on to c&m
Think my tastebuds have matured over the years.

The amount of water is critical in getting these right, especially if you are hosting a dinner party

A smorgasbord!

Yes,my sons stash

I was supposed to be, but it was cancelled after I’d booked the hotel (and decided that the surcharge for being able to cancel was too expensive).

Gig tomorrow though.

Who you seeing?

Low and Divide & Dissolve.

I’ve seen Low many, many times, so despite the fact that they will doubtless be superlative I’m more looking forward to seeing the two young ladies tear a hole in the fabric of space.

Zooming up to Clifton on the grounds of “if we moved to Bristol then …”.

It reminds me a lot of Stockbridge in Edinburgh, a bit of Blackheath in London, with a dash of Bath.

Basically wealthy and Georgian, and now quite chi chi.

Walk across the suspension bridge

Sweet baby jeebus it’s a long way down.

Sadly I saw a couple of bouquets of flowers left around the area, and the signs for contacting the Samaritans are very prominent.

Since I’ve taken a photo of it, the house in the middle by rights now belongs to me, although I’d also settle for one of the flats on the right.
