The zone 3 (where I live) cap is £10.50 so I’m looking forward to recouping my money in roughly three trips into town (“go central” as my nieces call it).

Visiting the local hospital for a flexible cystoscopy after a small scare. If you don’t know what that is then I recommend against looking up - it’ll make your eyes water.

It appeared to be clear but they’re lining up an MRI to be on the safe side.

Having a couple of days on the East Yorks coast. Have damaged my knees so limited in walking, but can watch the birdies.

Bempton is a great place for seabirds. If you have time, the short (3 hrs-ish) boat trips go daily (weather dependent) from Bridlington and you get a completely different, but still spectacular, view of the cliffs/birds.

Says that tomorrow is fully booked online but limited day tickets may be available on the day.

The sea will almost certainly be lumpy
