Well in a weird way this has already borne fruit.
I’m wanting a USM “home office”
to replace the full potato desk intended for sitting in from of a CRT monitor 9-5.
And from the same modular system, a small TV unit
to replace the absolute battleship rack that was originally bought to support a Loewe 32" CRT (that weighed approximately a million tons), a bonkers NAD multi-channel amp and a centre speaker whose brand I have forgotten. It’s pretty bare these days
Anyway, the “downstairs” TV has legs almost at the edge of its frame, however the “upstairs” (my gaming) TV has them more set in, all the better for fitting on a smaller rack. Upstairs is newer and objectively better (streaming apps aren’t laggy etc.)
Idea! Swap the TVs. This has worked out great (so far) and currently means one less remote (we had to use two downstairs, one specifically for muting the soundbar, don’t ask) and the removal of an HDMI to optical adaptor which I didn’t even know was there. A bit of a win for no money.
I’m also informed that there will be Eames “oil rig” dining chairs. Granted the old chairs are badly fucked. And a “banquette” (I think she’s been reading the FT too much).
It’s quite annoying just findiing out the proper spelling of bonkette seating

Spent the morning asking ’ Gemini ’ stupid questions and using the generated replies to create equally stupid questions, which in turn generated sit on the fence replies.
A morning spent trolling an algorithm, I’m losing the plot, more pills and potions required, although I did manage to illicit a reply the got as near as possible to confirming that Trumps a cunt, albeit with algorithm reservations. Is this what my lifes become arguing with 1’s and 0’s.

Busy weekend. Tiler finished tiling in the kitchen, removed a large Lilac tree, started to remove the stone wall that “housed it”, started digging out and levelling hand the garden, removed roof rack and tent from Landy and installed on mate’s Landy, realised need to make appointment with Doc as short term memory losses are now too frequent to be just a thing.

Living room + dining room today…
Upstairs (all stuffed into 1 room and a hallway)…
Today being T Minus 7 days.
Looks like a local is looking for stuff for their son to set themselves up in a flat. I priced up a bunch of stuff. Now waiting for a response.
Car has already been sold to a neighbour, with the understanding that we will continue to drive it until we leave
N’s now off to get some pampering at a local beauty salon.
I might go and clean up a BBQ or summat.

Been stripping wallpaper/filling and painting for the last 14 days for a friends flat in Totnes.
