Back in the Square & Compass s’afty - I just want to move in to this pub permanently and spend the next couple of years drinking myself to death.

Sorry it’s a pic of me, Sam’s the only one with a camera…

Last full day down here sadly… Beautiful walk down to Winspit and a potter around the old stone-mines and cliffs - last time I was down there was 1978 doing my geology ‘O’-level out of nearby Leeson House.

Glorious sunny day / crisp starbright night - gonna miss it moi luvvers…

That reminds me… I need to get a couple of Gargoyles for the garden.

FKR!

Actually, giving this a bit of thought.

A bag of plaster of paris you could make a fortune selling moulds of that gnarly fizzog to keep unwanted wildlife off lawns.

That face would be good up to, but not including, badgers I reckon.

A face even moles would avoid.

Great pub The Salamander. Nice to see it is still a Bath Ales pub, too, even though they were bought out by St Austell Brewery a few years ago.

Yes, but you’re a rough, tough northener…

Well I’m a northerner and I’m a bit rough. Don’t know about the other bit

There’s a whole world of difference between waking up expecting it to be cold, and not expecting it.
