Our house never really gets that cold, even with the heating off for 12 hours it’s still 18c. It’s the lack of hot water that bothers me more, I’m not into cold showers.
It was 17.2c in here when I got up. I’ve now lit the fire but damped down by closing the vents, it will tick over all day and heat the whole house, apart from my bedroom which I want to be cold anyway.

Having said that, the wife being from somewhat nearer to the equator thinks 18c is positively Arctic.

Looks like the whole board is running way to hot and has burnt out the fuse holder. Guy from National Grid is here and reckons he’ll be done in 30 mins.
Rest of the cut out board and meter needs ripping out and replacing as a more permanent fix.
