Today I have mainly been V5.0

Gunt overhang now rather than tucking in?

What is the accepted norm for the gut? I have always thought tucking it in looks a bit rubbish.
Maybe if I got trousers made that went up to my tits it might sort of look alright. Need a tailor.

William H Taft. Presidential trousers.

I’ve no idea, but it always reminds me of the quip the young apprentice made years ago when confronted with a gentleman wearing a pair of high waisters…

“Nice trousers, what size chest are they?”.

Still makes me laugh 8 years later.

The little twat.

As poor mental health and a hosepipe ban last year meant Alison wasn’t cleaned regularly or as thoroughly as normal.

MOT Preparation includes Engine Bay Clean which didn’t reveal any ‘nasties’ which is good because a lot of preventative maintenance has been carried out over the last few years!

My car gets washed once a year by the garage when it goes in for the MOT and service, bloody garage is having drainage problems so they aren’t washing cars at the moment.

Took the car to the polish car wash and they just laughed and said no thanks we’re not touching that as it would take 4x normal car time slots to clean.

Waiting for the sparks to come and change a light-pull. He was badly delayed - a previous job had required “urgent remedial work” :skull: :zap: :skull:

Tomorrow is the washing machine guy - “the spin doctor” (do you see what he did there?) - after the machine threw a rod over Christmas. I’ll be very impressed if his work is as good as his remote diagnostic skills - a five word description and he was “the heater’s gone, I’ll be there 9am Tuesday”.

and gone by 9:15am, off to get the part to fix the actual fault.

There’s always that possibility.

I’m hoping that if all you do is fix washing machines every day (the population is sufficiently dense here to be able to support that kind of niche business) then you’ll have seen the same thing again and again.

Still won’t have parts

Mine too, normally. However, the new garage for MG servicing doesn’t have cleaning facilities.

It will just have to wait until the end of the lease then.

Had an MRI and a CT this morning. Following a bite to eat and a bit of a walk I’m back for treatment. Fun never stops :face_holding_back_tears:….

I hope there is an end to all this, in the near future.
All the best.
