I can post you up a proper crimp tool and some plugs if you want.

Edit: I’ve just checked and I also still have a tester and boots so everything you need except cable.

The basic tools are fiddly, and it may take a few goes to get a good connection, but it only has to work once.

The first is similar to the one I used to use for knocking up cables and loopback plugs etc.

One of these is a good idea as well

Oh yeah and go with Cat5e or Cat6 cable anyhting above that is a bollockache to terminate well.

Use T568B as that is the more common one for networking in the UK but it doesn’t matter as long as both ends are the same pattern

I got one of the £20-ish kits off Amazon that comes with crimp tool, plugs, push tool and tester, because I’d be using it more than once. I’ve used it twice.

Parked up on Dartmoor eating a lovely selection of cheese and pickles for lunch.

All I can remember from going to Sintra is walking for hours to a castle up a hill (1989) , it’s nice to see a bit more :grinning:.

Playing pool for the first time since the pandemic started. I used to be quite good…

It was really misty when we went but the castle was great and we had a amazing lunch of Arroz de pato, rice with duck and in our case a blood sausage.

Hiking “trail” LOL

Met several people in trainers attempting this hike. Oh well, they’re your ankles, not mine :joy:

Trams = Malcolm

Seeing people (admittedly fleetingly through a bus window) “playing” quidditch.

On the way out we were like “WTF is going on there then?”

Only on the way back did the people running around with broomsticks between their legs and chucking balls through three hoops become obvious.

Never change, Clapham :man_facepalming:
