Hobbling round York and Harrogate - sprain still no better after the pavement moved in Cambridge over a week ago…

Helpful and knowledgeble chap, and seems to have spent his working life in the trade. He’s been open for about a year now and has a reasonable stock of new and second hand vinyl plus CDs, but willing to order anything he hasn’t got in stock. Not the cheapest prices but that will always be the case for a shop, compared with online ! Worth a visit. I don’t, and wouldn’t, use him exclusively but at least he’s in the town.

Whilst we were in Harrogate for lunch with friends - We did pop into the show this morning for a couple of hours.
I know many will take the piss and want it to fail, it was moderately busy. A great venue and on the whole the wammer exhibitors systems were better than the dealers, with the exception of AN and whoever it was playing Tannoy Prestige speakers. B&O beolab 50 or whatever they were, were meh for £23k. It was a nice little show, in a nice location, conceptually it worked pretty well…but whether it is sustainable I don’t know.
