I was up there Wednesday fossil hunting, my kids dipped their toes and screamed, they much prefer the English riviera
Nice 11 mile circuit from Monyash today, beautiful walking day in the White Peak.
Mucho sorry to hear that mate.
Pretty shitty.
Thatâs tough. How long have you got to go with the drugs?
Sorry to hear it Olan. My brother is on a cocktail of stuff for his cancer, along with a pretty strong opiate painkiller for the arthritis that the drugs have brought on. He hates taking the painkiller because it makes him sleepy, so sometimes he doesnât take it. Problem is, opiates bung you up, so when he doesnât take it he has to stay near a bogâŚ
I wasnât really in Redcar! The blueish colours tend to give it away. We were at Widemouth Bay.
And the fact that you can see the horizon!
A decent walk today mostly a pace - Over ten miles i reckon.
Looked fairly similar unless I turned to the industrial left, so we kept our eyes right
A year to 18 months more to shrink the tumour on my liver (source of the yellow). Then surgery and two further years of adjuvant therapy.
Actually the chemo is pretty OK. About once a month it gets a bit unpleasant. I was fucked off today because I wanted to play in the garden with the kids.
Abso-fucking-lutely. I regret that post now. Never internet when you are drunk, angry or exploding from all aperturesâŚ
No surrender to the yellow. Its the waste bin in the corner of the operating theatre for that fucker.
âŚattracting attention to poor me, poor me!
Driving. Took daughter back to Lancaster Uni.
Fucking aye to that mate!
Good grief and I moan when I have to go to work instead of having a weeks holiday. I am truly a lightweight. Hope you get to play with the kids on another sunny day. Sorry forgot that we are in the UK.
I was having a whinge and should have been ignored. To put things in perspective I have now gone beyond the trots to weapons grade flatulence (a risky business I might add). Pixie my female JRT has left the room in disgust, while Ziggy (who is a lazy fat git) is fixing me with a very upset gaze. You know it is really bad when the dogs are upset by it.
Victory, however fleeting, is mineâŚ![]()
A favourite pastime of mine.
âŚand of our very own âWeapon of Mass Seductionâ Jim. Who, incidentally, seems to have gone quiet on the noxious gas front, now that Trump could send a cruise missile down his chimney. ![]()
