@Valvebloke Just in case these might be useful - cheap tip cutters. These are normally like £80-100 or so.

Cheers Pete. I had to put an Amazon order in anyway, so these are on it too now. I already have the Bahco straight 8000 series flush cutters and was using them only this morning. They’re not for heavy jobs of course, but when you need to get in tight they will reach where almost nothing else will.

Just as long as no-one thought I had been panic-buying. I’ve just got back from Sainsbury’s. The chap standing by their completely empty loo-roll shelf (and empty tissues, and almost empty kitchen rolls) said they had had a delivery overnight which had all gone by mid-morning. They might get another delivery tonight. Or they might not. I hadn’t actually gone in for those, thank goodness.
