I’m no expert,but I’d take tent ️
don’t eat any fried onions mixed with baked beans…
fairy lights are a must
Buy a campervan
Take many flaggons of cider, eggs and vaseline
Take flipflops for the showers.
Who needs a shower? Just take a watering can
Looking at the forecast for Wellington this weekend, I don’t think Rob will need the watering can
If it says it’s a two man tent, there’s only enough room for one…
Find the muddiest part of the field, ideally on a slope
Find the nearest B&B
Disable your car on Friday. Stay home eating Toblerone instead. Effect miraculous repair on Sunday before retiring to the Pub for a well earned rest.
Camping made easy…
This makes an awful lot of sense, best so far
I like camping.
Insect repellant. Shoes you can find and put on easily in the dark if you need to go for a wee/poo in the middle of the night. A couple of decent torches. If you’re not on a site with ‘facilities’ then a cathole trowel e.g. https://www.ultralightoutdoorgear.co.uk/equipment-c3/washroom-c14/washroom-accessories-c20/cathole-trowel-p547. Learn how to use it before you need it. Work out where the rainwater is going to run then pitch your tent somewhere else.
Cars can be relatively comfortable places to sleep (relative to tents, that is).
