Ugh, estate agents

Very WANT.

VERY

Moving house on Tuesday, been a PITA with our buyers but hopefully it will all go OK on the day.
First time when moving I/We have used a removals company, should take a lot of the stress/effort out of the day so we can hopefully’ ‘enjoy’ the move!

We have big plans for the new house but it always seems ridiculous packing everything as if you were shipping it across the continent when in fact its only ~1-mile down the road

We seem to be ahead of schedule though, all pretty much packed now (apart from some of the workshop) and just using up the remaining few items in the fridge in ever weird combinations…

Here is the new house

Congrats. I foresee many happy hours of jet washing that driveway and patio…

Looks great, a definite candidate for a ride on lawnmower!

Yes, both need replacing. The patio is like Takeshi’s Castle, every other slab is loose…

Wide angle photography can be deceptive, its a great size but not that big!

And the walls that have been painted with Stu’s @A_Touch_of_Cloth surplus ceiling paint in the lounge and bedroom need re-plastering. Or were they actually aiming for that effect?

Obviously Brown was on a good deal @ B&Q… We are planning a small side extension so would be getting all the rooms skimmed at the same time. :+1:

I think the red skirting and coving should be heritage listed. Well worth keeping that @hoopsontoast.

Back room looks perfect for ESLs. :ok_hand:

The back room (“Sun Room”) currently has no heating but we are thinking of making it a large Kitchen/Diner, at the moment anyway…

ESLs and valve amps then.

Well I still have the Decware Zen, so maybe some silly horns…

Seems a LOT of house for the money given it’s Oxfordshire - that Obvious Listening Room at the back is a Piece of Work :ok_hand:

Well done for seeing through that gopping colour scheme, too :+1:

Well done Rob, that has a lot of potential

Thanks, yes the ‘potential’ was why we both liked it, that and the nice features such as the 40s/50s fireplace, parquet floor etc. Would rather do it up to our tastes rather than pay someone to have already changed the Bathrooms/Kitchen etc to something we don’t really like.

Only downside is it does not have a garage but we are planning a small extension on the side for a workshop + Decent sized shed at the back of the garden for woodwork/garden bits.

Oh and we got £20k off the asking price too, a bonus with the Stamp Duty holiday as well…
