Have you spoke to them?
Nope, weâve walked past the house many times with the dogs hoping to catch sight of the owners. Hel stopped me from walking up and ringing their bell to ask them when they were moving out!
When I was a kid wandering around Lickey Hills and beyond I always wanted to buy the Cadbury place
Stunning location, but whoeverâs had it has managed to soul-suck the Arts & Crafts right out and âLive, Love, Laughâ the living shit out of it - right down to the so-2020s Grey Bits Everywhere look.

Lovely place, but leaves me feeling cold
Screams showroom,for that reason,Iâm out
What a fabulous place.
I mostly like it. You should buy that.
B&W speakers ⌠Iâm out.
Not just the worktops and feature walls that are shiny.
Totally agree, so disappointed after spending decades wondering what the inside was like while the owners âmodernisedâ it
Not a lot that couldnât be totally refurbished and restored thoâ (reaches for garish wallpaper swatchesâŚ)
Only at vast expense - I suspect some amazing oak panelling and encaustic/Minton/whatever tiles left in skipsâŚ
Such a shame, but sadly common.
Well if youâre spanking a couple or three millâ on a place then although itâs a shame the original isnât there, youâre probably going to have the readies to invest in restoration if thatâs your thing.
Real shame though.
The whole place is excessive, but I have never seen a leather floor
We could perhaps rent it for the weekend and run a AA Show weekend. Although I think only a few of us have systems big enough to fill most of those rooms.
Isnât that just your average builderâs pad?
In my parents house, there was a pigskin tiled floor, in a sun room!
Easy to wipe clean. Iâm assuming @Mrs_Maureen_OPinion and @Penance were consultants on the project.
Nononononono!
NIGHTMARE getting human DNA out of leather flooring!

âŚespecially when the leather used to be human tooâŚ
