Agreed, that is why I have a Nak RX-505, just to show the tape flipping. The Nak 1000 Tri-tracer was a late night impuse purchase and is bloody heavy, like big power amp heavy.

Back in the 90s I used to drink in a pub that had a VHS music system with Bose speakers. It sounded great.
