Los Tabanos Experience - Atlantis Mirage

LP

I had a first listen to it today Matt (amidst my hissy fit over my amp :grinning:) - it’s very good.

Andy Bey’s only involvement is to sing on track 1 and the rest is a mix of soulful jazz and Brazilian inspired jazz. With tracks by Airto Moriera and Jobim and an appearance by Flora Purim on Upa Neguinho.

Prisoner was excellent. Saw that show at the Sage, Gateshead and it was absolutely superb.
Hope this new stuff and show lives up to that.

I thought you might like it Terry - very good on vinyl. I think he was playing at the SO|TU shop recently as a tie in to the album re-release.

Josefina Ohrn and The Liberation - Sacred Dreams

Deep Blue and Black swirl vinyl

Just got tickets to see her in April.

Liked her last effort… might have to look at that.

They’ve all been very good, imo :+1:

Yep. Seems there are all sorts of colours from places. Just got the Bandcamp vinyl effort as it’s got the Flac as an extra I hope.

Just emailed Burning Shed as my copy is dished and scratched. First time I have had a duff bit of vinyl from them. I am disappoint.
