What albums have you bought lately?

Big fan of the xtc version

I feel the same but the first time I heard the track was on my friend’s copy of Bob Dylan at Budokan. It’s quite different but also excellent.

FWIW I’m not a Dylan fan either.

1978, and just been to see Genesis at Knebworth. On the way home some of my mates asked if I was coming to Dylan at Blackbushe the next weekend (or two :man_shrugging:).
Thankfully I didn’t have enough money to go.

The thing I’ve never understood and is often levelled is his voice. The tone and intention of that is mostly missed.

The radio shows are just something beautiful if you love music and it’s rots and roots and why people do it

If nothing else a great raconteur/ compere

Covers tell you you something

Yep, unfortunately it’s not cheap.

Fuck, just googled it!

I like The Cult, but not that much!

Makes my most valuable cd set look like a bargain

I’ve decided to stop upgrading kit (don’t feel that I need to) and buying spurious new Albums that I only listen to once, and concentrate on software that I really want Rob (rare material, gaps in my collection etc). Hence the Bad Fire, Minimum Maximum and Cure boxsets.

I’m sure there’ll be more :+1:

Can’t argue with that logic Mike.

Except I really want an Elcaset…

Come on, that has to be worth owning @Rob998 . No ?

Elcaset first., cos I’ve already had a DAT Walkman.

Also I know a member on here has the exact Elcaset model I want, and I’m hoping one day he’ll take pity on me and sell it to me for church mouse money.
