What do you reckon Mike? ISTR that was awarded a best lager in the world a couple of years ago.
There’s a Holts pub on the way home from work, and I occasionally pop in if it’s been a particularly trying day.
I’ve had that on draught a few times, and it’s pretty good, but I usually get distracted by the guest beers.
I rather like it Rob. A more malty, slightly bitter taste than the usual lager pish.
Been raiding Tesco? I also bought a few of those two at the weekend.
Indeed.
I needed summat to tide me over until a couple of my HB batches were ready to drink.
Highly recommended Portuguese Syrah. just bought half a dozen for Christmas. It must be good because I have an unholy aversion to “amusing” bottle labels.
what region? winery?
My travels in the vine yards and wineries of the upper douro showed me that there are a lot of under appreciated and good value Portuguese wines
Alentejo
João Portugal Ramos
And again
It’s Syrah/Trincadeira grape, the region is Alentejano,
Where did you get them mark?
