A nice drop of Champagne
looks spot on. Taste - how does drinking of the Ladeegaarden taste? and do you get stuff stuck between your teeth?
It has all the Hoegaarden flavours but lacks mouth feel. This was a mistake in process. I added finings during the boil off when I should have left it out thus leaving all the proteins in suspension.
It is very refreshing and at 4.7% very easy drinking.
I added more bitter orange peel than usual so no slice of lemon is required.
Ladees are always neatly trimmed.
Certainly looks the part.
Claire’s out, the kids are downstairs, time for a quadruple Bombay Sapphire and tonic, loaded with lime, and some early Leonard Cohen.
