What I'm watching (Part 1)

His (soon to be ex?) Mrs is NHS, and has been covering for him, but she’s found someone else.

He’s also very methodical/robotic on duty, so the story is he’s good at hiding it and is possibly undiagnosed as ptsd.

I’ll now hedge my prediction, he’s either going to shag her or kill her. Or both.

I think her sacked Aid is the one who’s going to try to do her in, hero boy is caught between killing her or the Boss.
He’d be under scrutiny that no nurse could cover for especially his wife.

There’s deffo something suss about her too, obviously, but I think she’s just a little rich kid intern who thinks she’s got some dirt. Red herring IMHO.

Could be, we shall see. I will deffo give it a few more episodes before dismissing it as bollox.

I quite enjoyed it.

That crossed my mind too, but then I can (and usually do) blank out things like that in the interests of entertainment.

Let’s see what tomorrow night brings.

Well, it’s got us talking, and therefore involved, hasn’t it? When the BBC does good drama, it does it properly.

Hope they can maintain the suspense over all 6 episodes.

I enjoyed it, he’s no Bond though.

TFFT

I can’t stand Bond…

There were rumours he was being short listed for James Bond.

My wife pointed out that men never tell they have this ptsd so they probably never knew !!

You don’t declare you have PTSD it is diagnosed by a psychiatrist. You are then referred for treatment with a psychotherapist usually CBT, but if you’re lucky you could receive EMDR, often followed by courses of anti depressants. Anyone going into protection command would be subjected to stringent psychological profiling especially an ex serviceman who has recently been posted to Afghanistan and was wounded as a result.

That’s handy as it’s getting more far fetched :grinning:
