It can’t be as bad a this, which I watched last night because free on Amazon, and nominally I like spooky war movies.
Just what the actual, holy shit that was awful.

Getting really excited about Villeneuve’s Dune, now. I see there’s a new trailer, although I haven’t watched it. My brother is forgoing all the trailers as he doesn’t want to dilute the movie experience in any way. I saw one, but I’m following his lead from here on. Plymouth IMAX will be my chosen venue…

Same - although there is one thing I’ve seen in it already that has made me laugh.
I wonder how it will work over two films.

Err, he’s quite famous, but mostly as a footballer.
He was also in The Dirty Dozen, which I’m now tempted to watch.
Along with its obvious companion Kelly’s Heroes.
edit: my copy of Kelly’s Heroes has either been very badly misfiled or it’s gone walkies

We enjoyed 3 episodes of Richard E Grant swanning about in Southern Europe on the trail of various writers whose work had been shaped by the places.
Price in that Grant will always be the Uber Luvvie and you may enjoy it. I still find him funny to watch and have been to some of the places he visits but it did make me want to go travelling again (maybe next year)

Yeah, I watched this recently. Excellent.
I initially saw a shorter video of it. Felt sorry for him at the end.
8 Days to the Moon and back on BBC2. Aside from being really interesting it’s full of material sampled heavily by the likes of The Orb and Public Service Broadcasting.

That was really good. Possibly the best thing I’ve watched this year. I’m too young to remember the original landings so this was really informative.

I remember watching the landing in class on the school TV and then getting sent home to watch the rest of the broadcast. We were also given a commemorative coin (will take a pic when I get home in the morning)

Really liked that, it was good to hear the recordings within the capsule as well.
Had a snigger at their ‘interpretation’ of Collins rolling his eyes when the bloke at Houston started waffling about the ancient Chinese story of the rabbit.
