Re Cocaine Bear
The very much fictional film was based on this newspaper article from Dec 1985

The bear was eventually stuffed and Waylon Jenings had him at his home for a while.

From the posts I can see it looks legit, Kevin. Whatever its anticedents.

Got this on my watch list.

A parachuting drug smuggler was used as a storyline in Justified , that must be where the got the idea from.

Absolutely where they got the idea from.

I think people are misunderstanding me.
The Skydiving coke smuggler happened
The coke strewn about the place happened
The bear eating the coke happened
The bear dying from cocaine happened.

The bit in the film (most of it) of the antics of the bear on coke are totally made up.
There are no witnesses or evidence of what happened after the bear swallowed the coke

It’s a shame, I’ve long been hoping for a factual cinematic portrayal of the antics of a bear on cocaine.

My mum and dad had it on LP with the Blood Donor on the other side. Not sure who in the family ended up with it.

The missus has got Lucy Worsley on probation watching this Agatha Christie documentary. She’s not a fan of the affected voice style.

Already been dubbed the female Peston.

Slow Horses S2.

Gill liked that programme, much better researched (unsurprisingly) than the recent Allan Carr efforts on the same subject.

I was watching football on the laptop.

Watching Granite Harbour (BBC). Pretty decent cop show. :+1:
