What I'm watching (Series 2)

I think my review was a bit generous.
It got worse as it went along.

I see this has been out a while, but new to me and our Christmas guests. Really gripping, and visually sumptuous.

Yes, utter shite.

Managed to record both of these. Watching the Blue Note film now. Thanks for the heads up as I am really enjoying the music and the story.

I thought it was a classy film, a great premise and very well realised. If you haven’t seen it, treat yourself.

Of course, those of a gammony persuasion, q anon and anti vaxxers, well, they might feel a bit victimised.

It’s been interesting to see just how many breakfast time news presenters have adopted the exact same sceptical, (let’s keep it light, please) approach to interviewing the representatives of XR and JustStopOil without seeing the parallels.

I’m two thirds of the way through The Irishman on NF, unbelievably slow and borring esp for a Scorsese film.
209 minutes of my life I will not get back.
Avoid.

I fell asleep a couple of hours in and didn’t bother going back to it. Very disappointing

Love this film!

It a shame, the start (the first 30minutes) was good, turned to shit after that.
It’s still on now, but I’ve given up.

It certainly is - have you got to the episode with the school disco yet?

Not yet!

Fully agreed, wasn’t expecting it to be that good. Loved the nods back to the earlier films and tv shows.

At the intersection of JCVD and John Woo.

I bloody love this film.
