Managed a night out with Mrs MWS tonight. She picked this to watch, I had some reservations which were mostly unfounded. The story of how Nike boomed following a deal with Michael Jordan is actually more interesting than I’d imagined.
Damon and Affleck do their double act which is what it is. There’s some strong moments from the supporting cast and the thing hangs together pretty well. Pleasantly surprised.
Listened to a few in the gangster series.

Watched Episode 1 last night. Had not heard of it before yesterday.
This was after I tried The Night Agent on Netflix… more wood than the New Forest.
The Night Agent, that one plumbs the depths and tests the meaning of the word entertainment.
The other one is top drawer.
We started to watch Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre but 30 mins in realised its utter gash.
Guy Ritchie really does need a kick up his hoop.

The Gold… Thought it was great, apart from the tiresome, heavy handed sociopolitical commentary. Didn’t know much about Brink’s-Mat, it’s an interesting story. I guess it would never happen nowadays.
